Thank you for registering for BMT 2026! We're excited to share a new opportunity for your teams: BMT Team Link! Team Link is an optional program that merges teams with fewer than 4 students with each other on Tournament Day. We especially recommend it for organizations with only one team. BMT Team Link is only available at our in-person tournament. It will not be offered at BMT 2026 Online.
A bigger team means more people to work with during BMT's team-based rounds (Power and Guts). A bigger team is more fun, and it also helps when Individual Round scores are weighed for team awards (see the BMT Scoring Guidelines).
To sign up for BMT Team Link, coaches should indicate it for each of their teams on ContestDojo. Coaches can change their selection any time before Late Registration ends on November 1. Expressing interest in Team Link on ContestDojo is optional and not binding.
On Tournament Day, BMT staff will combine teams that signed up for Team Link as they arrive.* Details about the location and time will be released closer to the tournament date. If your students plan to participate, please have them arrive at the beginning of the check-in time slot. Team Link closes 15 minutes before check-in ends. Coaches and chaperones must stay on campus and be reachable for the whole contest, even after their students join a Team Link team.
BMT still offers the BMT 2026 Teammate Finder if you'd like to plan your teams ahead of time. Any team with fewer than four students can join Team Link, including teams formed through the Teammate Finder.

* BMT will do its best to form teams of five or six students. Students who arrive earlier during check-in are more likely to end up on a team that size. Teams of four are not penalized (see the BMT Scoring Guidelines). BMT staff and volunteers can't guarantee who you or your team will be combined with.
